While it’s great to answer the phone, find out that someone wants to contract for your services, and pay you a whole lot to get it done, it really does not hurt if you already have prepared a contractor agreement that covers both your interests before beginning. It lets the client know what type of people they are employing, while also shielding you from a person that plays loose with the idea of what a business contract is.
